Transcript for Kathleen Sebelius: 'I Don't Work for' People Calling for Resignation
battle over obama care and the glitches plaguing the launch. The contractors set to built the website got raked over the coals on capitol hill. More tough questions are coming. And jon karl is tracking it all. Good morning, jon. Reporter: Good morning, george. When asked who is responsible for the troubles with the rollout, the white house press secretary says, this is on us. That goes from the president on down. More than anybody, right now, it is health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius who is taking the heat. Amidst demands from some republicans that she resign, health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius, visited an obama care call center in arizona and said she intends to stay on the job. The majority of people calling for me to resign, i would say are people who I don't work for. And who do not want this program to work in the first place. Reporter: As some of the contractors responsible for building the site testify before congress thursday, we learned more about how much the site is actually costing. The two largest contracts alone, $375 million. That's well over twice as much as apple spent developing the iphone. After footing the bill, the american people deserve something that works or start over. Reporter: And even though some sparred over who is to blame -- once again, here we have my republican colleagues trying to scare everybody. I will not yield to this monkey court or whatever this is. This is not a monkey court. Reporter: Even some of the democrats on the committee expressed outrage over the problems with the website. This is unacceptable. It needs to be fixed. Reporter: The contractors placed some of the blame on the administration for requesting last-minute changes. And also said they had only a few days to test the site before it was launched. Well, the contractors certainly got raked over the coals at yesterday's hearing. The tougher questions will come next week when it is sebelius that goes before congress. George? A lot more coming. Jon karl, thanks so much. We'll have a lot more on this sunday on "this week," as well.
