Transcript for Katy Perry Celebrates Her 29th Birthday in Lakewood, Colo.
they do the count, you'll come out number one in probably the top-selling female ever with this, I believe. That number's not out yet. But I pray, sam. I believe it. How about that, ladies and gentlemen? I'll take it. I believe that's going to happen, following the trend right now. What's it like to -- should we go into -- what's it like to spend your birthday? I'm 29. And I feel great. A young birthday. With a few of your closest friends. I feel like I'm 13 sometimes. Honestly, you can tell by my music. And my spirit. It feels great because you know what? I'm so excited about this record. And I just love all the participation and the unification -- is that a word? That's a word. I need to go back to school, obviously. But the unification of all of you guys coming together and roaring in one shot. That was so cool. Yeah. Can I just say the -- can I say first of all, no one can jump rope like that and sing and do all that. How about a little hand for the jump roping live on stage and the singing. Katy, let me ask you something. They want to present you a jacket. Oh. Let's show you. How cute. The jacket they got for you. As we do that, I want to ask you something serious about this. I think this got a little more special and a little more deep than we anticipated. There were so many stories that came out. These kids bared their souls. I was truly touched. I cried. I was blown away by some of the creativity. There was so many different variations. And I appreciated all of them. There were a lot of finalists. And I really love that everybody could have that school spirit still. We live in a time where I think where we're really distracted and there's a lot of other things and situations that we could be somewhere else. On our phones or whatever. But everybody came together and made fantastic videos. Entries. School spirit still lives.
