Okay, Ryan. Thank you. A major crackdown on a lottery scam, cashing in on their customers' winnings worth millions of dollars. ABC's Matt Gutman is tracking that. Reporter: This morning, officials say a month-long Florida lottery investigation is hitting pay dirt. Authorities poised to make additional arrests after hauling in four suspects over the past two day, some charged with grand theft. It's the result of a sweeping investigation into the odds-defying winning of nearly 100 convenience store owners and clerks in the state. Investigators becoming suspicious after learning that out of the top ten lotto winners in the Tampa area nine are convenience store owners. And this man, a different store clerk. You've won 38 times for about $50,000. In four years maybe. Reporter: How much money have you put into it, do you think. Maybe 60 or 70. Reporter: Many alleged schemes. This clerk in Syracuse was convicted last year of swindling a customer after telling him he had a $5,000 ticket when it was really worth 5 million. Well, we got our one winner. Reporter: So the clerk pockets it. Cashes it in. Reporter: Following investigations by ABC news and our Tampa affiliate, the Florida lottery rolled out a series of pas. Protecting players from theft and fraud is vitally important at the Florida lottery. Reporter: Sign every ticket every time. Reporter: Another tip, always ask for your ticket back even when the clerk tells you've lost. Thank you. Now, of course, the vast majority of convenience stores owners like the guys here are honest, but you never actually have to hand them your ticket ever. All you have to do is go to any place where lottery tickets are sole, scratch off the bar code, put it under the scanner and it will automatically tell you whether or not your ticket is a winner or a loser.
