Well I'm Lindsey Davis for world news beyond the headline OK so we are talking about. This increase in bread winning moms we -- know -- in 40% of American households with kids. That moms tend to be the primary breadwinner. And that number is only on the rise what's new now. Is a study that's come out by a working mother media that basically surveyed 2000 women. And they found that there's a big difference in whether you chose this role of breadwinner. Or whether it was -- that you fell into by chance and what they found is it 29%. Of bread winning mom said this is something that I actively sought out I chose this. But 71%. Of the -- when it -- -- this is something that just happened I did not seek this out. The survey then goes on to explore that. Those women who did not choose -- that this happened to by chance. Are much less satisfied than the bread winning dead counterparts one thing that bread winning moms and dads both overwhelmingly agree on is that they say that society is still. Way more comfortable with the dad being the breadwinner. According to working mother media it's a mindset that is going to have to change. For ABC news and Yahoo!
