-- analyst Matthew -- Born in Michigan -- in -- for a lot of different candidates and let let's talk about the primary right now that's written real pain upon Mitt Romney was way up for a long time. Rick Santorum surged last week. Romney came back and other -- -- -- Santorum is coming back again. What happens to the Republican race of Rick Santorum wins in Michigan tonight well I think if Rick Santorum was tonight it's the equivalent of a nine point -- on the richter scale. I mean it is gonna shake Washington it's gonna shake Republican establishment it's good to shake things to their very core. And I think what you'll see is the conversations have been going on back to quiet doors saying we need another candidate in this race that there's no way to get another candidate in there's only seven states left after next week where you can even -- There's a way to get a candidate -- and to demonstrate that this of these guys are not the guys that are most electable they may not be able to win the number of delegates but if nobody gets enough. Majority of the delegates go to -- convention if somebody comes out of that. Comes out from the behind the scene and shows up tomorrow or in the next week or two. They can actually show that they can win this flip it around Mitt Romney looks like he's gonna win Arizona tonight 29 delegates at stake the area almost as many. As Michigan if he wins. -- -- He's back to the front runner status but he still has some challenges next week on Super Tuesday he if he -- he's -- only when barely he's not and we even win the votes today Turks and charm is likely to win the votes today even if he loses Michigan to -- overall. I think what it is it sets us up for next do you think Michigan really is the tipping point in this race does this race devolved into -- brand new candidate. -- Mitt Romney gave a little minimum inevitability. But not enough to overcome what he needs to -- -- to produce -- work -- -- be split could be with Newt Gingrich doing well in the south and finally you believe that this fight in Michigan. Has actually increased president Obama's chances in that statement fall yet picked a fight between Rick Santorum and Mitt -- -- only help Barack Obama's ticket from a battleground -- swing state. And actually has moved it more democratic in the course of the last two weeks that's what I think's happening in for Barack Obama. -- Matthew thanks very much.
