Now, we turn to the latest on the deadline for americans to sign up for health insurance through the federal obamacare program. There's been a surge this week, causing extensive delays on the white house. Now, the white house has extended the deadline again. Jon karl is with the president, who is vacationing in hawaii. What are you hearing about the latest extension and how it works? Reporter: It's really a soft extension or a partial extension. What officials are saying is if you went on the website and you can prove you tried to enroll before the deadline, but couldn't get through because of problems with the website, they will give you some extra time, even some extra help if you call the website. But this is the third time, at least the third time, that they've had to extend this deadline. They say there's a good reason this time, which is that incredible surge in traffic. On monday, they said they had 2 million visitors in a single day. By far, a record. Make no mistake, this is a sign that even as they get this late into the game, that website is still not working the way it's supposed to be working. Not 100%.
