And this morning, it remains unclear whether the glitches stem from an overwhelming influx of computer traffic. Or whether there's more serious problems with the system. What we do know at this point, nearly 3 million people flocked to the website healthcare.Gov, in the first day. That number and the millions more that had logged on to state-run sites exceeded expectations. Many people have been unable to get rates or compare plans. We conducted our own checks throughout the day. We found that service was sporadic. Frequently stalled by technical problems.
