Desperate search for missing Virginia police captain Kevin -- vanished never showing up to a birthday party on Saturday that he a plan for his brother. Authorities suspect foul play -- ABC Steve -- Sami has the latest on the growing mystery. This morning Virginia police are desperately searching for one of their own. Roosters obviously the worst case scenario and then that -- would not get him back Kevin quit a 45 year old police captain and a young father never showed up to the surprise party that he had been planning for his younger brother last Saturday. Police believe he disappeared Friday night and the last anyone knew he was heading to visit a friend. Surveillance photos show his silver SUV into different parts of the state on Saturday. Three days later police found it abandoned here nearly sixty miles away outside a home in mineral Virginia. His friends and family in blue suspect foul play. These are places were -- and would not go so that's why no roots. It's hard it's hard to maintain hope they're releasing these surveillance photos of one of two men they say might be connected to the -- disappearance. They think the last person to hear from him was his estranged wife. She says he texted Friday night police say his credit cards are unused but they think he may have been carrying a large sum of money that he had not yet put in the bank. There are also other pieces of evidence and information we had that made us concerned about his safety. Pretty much right off the bat. Authorities are offering a 121500. Dollar reward this morning for any information that helps bring him home. The community he served hoping for the best. Any time something happens you call the police.
