Transcript for President Obama Enjoys Holiday in Hawaii After Year-End Recap
Gio, our thanks to her. President obama who's enjoying the sun, sand and surf of hawaii on his annual winter vacation with his family there. Before leaving the white house, the president was grilled by reporters about his fifth year in office which he insisted wasn't the worst of his presidency. Let's bring in george stephanopoulos. So, was it the worst year of his presidency and what does he do to make 2014 less horrible? I think it's safe to say it was his worst year ever. They had the least productive congress in memory. The president has to do a few things to start to turn this around. Number one, get back to basic. Fix the health care website. Make sure people are signing up. Big deadline tomorrow for people who want to have their health INSURANCE BY JANUARY 1st. The good news is the economy is getting stronger. They want to avoid government shutdowns to harm the economy. On top of that, have to try to find some way to work with congress and at least one of his big-ticket items that was stalled, immigration. Of course, he'll be working on this potential nuclear deal with iran. He needs some wins. No question about it. George, thank you. Thank you. That's coming up later on "this week," right here, on abc.
