Plumes of smoke billowed into the air after a twin-engine jet catapulted off the runway. We heard a boom. And then we heard another one, there were three. Reporter: This eyewitness said he watched the plane touchdown just before 6:30. I watched it land. It was a perfectly normal landing. You didn't see anything that made you go uh-oh? No. It was a landing and the tire popped off afterwards. Reporter: Firefighters arrived as the hangar was collapsing. Fire officials say it is unlikely anyone could have survived. The whole hangar that the plane went into was completely involved. We could not get in. The hangar collapsed. That type of luxury jet can seat up to nine people.
