And now to a Texas cheerleader stirring up a firestorm other her Facebook photos that some may find disturbing. Posing with the bodies of rare animals she's hunted in Africa. Sparking outrage, but she's speaking out in her defense. Reporter: She's the Texas teenager with a bow in her hair, and a bigger one in her hands. 19-year-old Kendall Jones, a cheerleader for Texas tech, turning her Facebook page into a tribute to her favorite activity, hunting. Not just ducks and deer. A cheetah, a menagerie of endangered species he hunted in Africa. It doesn't have animal rights activists picking up the pom-poms. They call her despicable, and the top-hated person. I'm Kendall Jones. Reporter: When she was featured as a scholar of the week on our Dallas affiliate, she talked about her love of animals. Do you have dogs? I have two. Reporter: And firing back at her critics, pointing out the money she pace helps prevent poach. She writes, this is a conservation effort to ensure they never become extingt. In a modern day and age, killing an endangered species to save it, unacceptable. Petition has more than 60,000 signatures. Jones would not comment, but this may not be a bad thing. On a Facebook page, she will be hosting her own reality show on the sportsman channel next year.
