by wildfires in texas. Gusting winds causing the swell to engulf houston. It's creating possible health and driving hazards. And ginger zee's here to tell us the latest. How did this all start? This fire is about 60 miles east of houston. As of last night, wasn't put out yet. But they were expecting to. And you put on an east wind. And it blows into places like galveston and houston. Both reporting they had driving conditions reduced. And a lot of people were coughing. Anybody with respiratory problems, with a big issue. Let's look at the video what it looks like. The fire really getting going there. And there's, again, this is huge. Thousands of acres, that over a preserve. It wasn't over anywhere that people live. It was just that the smoke blew in. This is what's going to happen today. We're going to be very dry. Houston is a foot below average when it comes to rainfall. Very dry in parts of texas. Continue all that today. But the east wind will start to turn ahead of the low-pressure system. They finally get some rain by the time we end this weekend and start the workweek. Much more coming up on the cold.
