Reporter: When we think of tori spelling -- I have never been so happy to take a final in my entire life. Reporter: We can't help but be reminded of that oh-so gam louse zip code. But these days, tori spelling's life has taken a turn from the glitz and glamour of beverly hills. She went from a lavish lifestyle to a lifestyle that involves budgeting. Reporter: The tv reality star talks about her new book, "spelling it like it is." And says that after several financial setbacks, she had to rethink her lifestyle and spending choices. Even going so far as to postponing a vastectomy treatment for her husband. After realizing they lacked the funds to pay for the procedure. It's no mystery why I have money problems. Her hard times began in 2011, when she took a loss selling her $3 million home. Then, she was hospitalized while pregnant with her fourth child and couldn't work. And then, her reality show, "tori & dean in love" was canceled. Her kids went from designer duds to hand-me-downs. The actress claiming she hasn't bought a purse for three years. I look back at the girl who SHOPPED AT GUCCI IN MY 20s. And I can't even relate. Spelling vowing to town down the family's once over the top birthday parties. I can't afford to live like this anymore. Our circumstances have changed. That isn't stopping spelling, who says she's more focused than ever on her family. And is looking forward to the future, which includes a new tv show with her former "90210" co-star, jennie garth. Through it all, she says there's one person she can count on. We've had lows.
