Does get more on this now from our chief political analyst Matthew Dowd also Megan McCain here. From the view and and Melanie began with this these Roy Moore allegations really seem to split the Republican Party. Some senators are now saying they believe the weight of evidence goes against. Roy Moore but that may be seen to be in a damned if you do damned if you don't. Situation with the senate candidate. Well the problem they have is that they have to pick between winning a race and principals in the course of this in my feeling about this is that default position ought to be believed the women. There is never bad incident where multiple women came forward accused a powerful man that turned out to be not. True in this so I think there's two options left for Republicans they can either support or write in candidate. Or support the Democrat Doug Jones in this race because at this point in time there is no way it looks like. Roy Moore is gonna get out erase those are the only two options push for a write in. Or support the Democrat Megan doesn't say much but for the majority of the party is going right now on this could cause a big problem for Republicans going miniatures elections but to women voters. A 100% but I also think what's fascinating about this is Brian Moore is a Steve Bannon pay for Brad tried and true. And if this sends up sort of blowing up in our face and by some miracle he doesn't end up becoming a senator. It really puts silver bullet into these candidates than T ban is putting up across the country. And we'll say the Republican Party has won the problem in general right now in this certainly isn't helping things. When you're talking about the difference between a fourteen year old a sixteen year old the age of consent. To say this isn't the messaging we should be on right here they didn't generally gave high school students and yet registered it's disgusting obviously and I think all women especially your young conservative woman he should be worried about the kind of messaging that sent across the country especially given the climate we're in right now. Let me just say four women on the record. Thirty off the record this isn't a witch hunt from the liberal need to get this is something we're gonna have to deal wet and I think that. It's it's unfortunate for people like Matt and I really just want to see good candidates be put into place and unfortunately when you care just about populism in about winning the primary. Not so much about winning the general this is where rap. This problem is not going way meantime are yours have those comments from the president about Vladimir Putin. Over the weekend as this in this movie we raise so many questions. Because the presence as well wait I don't just believe could have believed he believes it but is intelligence agencies say. Kuhn ordered the meddling in the election. Well it's like down trumpet a dating site and has a relationship of food you have to check it's complicated. I mean he's in a serious situation here because he's got all these accusations here domestically. He wants it seems like he wants to believe Vladimir Putin over any of its intelligence agencies in the course of this. I think he's in a very difficult pot spot and I think it's very concerning it that Donald Trump seems much more. Friendly with authoritarian people around the world than people that actually support human rights. OK Matthew diamond can thank you both very much.
