Lara, an incredible survival story. Trapped in a car, alone for ten hours with a badly bleeding leg and a pack of wolves circling. One young woman faced that and managed to survive. She came to the mountains to take beautiful photos. But after swerving to avoid a deer, 23-year-old know well Shannon was encased in her car. No help in sight. I thought about amputating my leg. After ten hours, she had almost given up, but then heard wolves circling, and one lost shot of adrenaline set in, she used all her might to smash the windshield and crawl out of the wreckage. Making a town quit to partially stop the bleeding with she climbed out on to the road. I saw a Toyota up the road, they were angels. Reporter: They found her near death and rushed her to the hospital, they had to amputate her leg. Nobody wants to lose a leg. I mean, it sucks, but it could have been a lot worse. Reporter: Despite the hardship, though, she's learned every day is a gift. Don't take life for granted. You never know when your last day will be. And she certainly did not. What a fighter. She'll be out in the next few days and back home where doctors say it will be six months to recuperate, but she's going to be okay. Something.
