It looks like we're off to a good start. Reporter: Along with our partners at burlington coat factory and one warm coat, we hit the streets in search of more. Cameron mathison went door-to-door, asking perfect strangers to clean out their closet. This is so nice. Reporter: And rachel smith collected bags of coats from big donors. Awesome. Are you ready to get to work? I have hundreds of coats in my van. Reporter: So many lent a hand. Like a private party, hosted by new york yankees starting pitcher, c.C. Sabathia. Able to give back to warm coats and warm hearts is good for me. Reporter: And viewers all across americas donated coats at their local burlington stores. Coats came in by the busload, carload, and armload. This is awesome. Reporter: And as fast as we collected them, they were out the door, helping thousands across the country. After the hurricane hit, we lost everything. To have a warm coat means the world. Reporter: Just last year, we reached the goal of 1 million coats, in over five years. Will smith. Reporter: And this year, with the help from celebrities, broadway stars, a cast of characters and you, we added to that incredible total. You guys make this happen every year.
