Answer: Doctors of osteopathy are medical physicians who, in addition to their medical training, are also trained in musculoskeletal medicine, as well as manipulation. This is as opposed to chiropractors, who the focus of their training is on manipulation and the musculoskeletal pain management.

They may both actually do similar kinds of manipulation. There may be some differences in philosophy and differences in the approaches that they take. Both approaches can be helpful for a lot of patients.
