What Is The Relationship Between Soy Products And Prostate Cancer?

Question: What is the relationship between soy products and prostate cancer?

Answer: Soy has been explored for an association to prostate cancer based on the observation that men in Asia have lower rates of prostate cancer and consume higher amounts of soy. One large recent study looked at soy milk consumption and found that, while there was a lower incidence of prostate cancer, there were higher rates of aggressive prostate cancer. And therefore, larger, well-designed clinical trials are necessary to evaluate the association between soy and prostate cancer risk.
