Question: Can I work during radiation treatment?
Answer: Unfortunately, radiation therapy can not be used as an excuse to avoid work, avoid doing errands, cleaning the garage et cetera.
Patients shouldn't lose a day of work while they're receiving radiation therapy. It may cut into their time schedule a bit, but their energy level, their ability to concentrate, their ability to function, shouldn't be affected at all.
