Although 18-year-old Bristol Palin drew headlines for her pregnancy and the birth of her son, Tripp, in recent months, she is far from alone, in her state or the nation.

"I don't think when teenagers hop into bed, they're sort of thinking of the national debt," he said. "Somehow, I don't think they're that cerebral about this."
