Rare Fungal Meningitis Outbreak Rises; 7 Dead, 64 Sick

A rare fungal meningitis that has been linked to spinal steroid injections has killed seven people and sickened 64 across nine states, health officials said today. The latest cases were confirmed in Minnesota and Ohio, according to figures posted on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website.
