Can Obesity Be Caused By Deeper Psychological Issues, And Do I Need To Address Those Issues To Lose Weight?

Question: Can obesity be caused by deeper psychological issues, and do I need to address those issues to lose weight?

Answer: Not everybody who struggles with weight has some deeper psychological issue, but for many there are elements of their emotional health that contribute. So it would be very important for anybody that's looking at a weight issue to look into the way that they cope with negative emotions and see if there are any issues in their past that they might go to a therapist to take care of.
