Question: Is it a good idea to just avoid desserts?
Answer: Most of us are working to keep our calories under control. And so I think it's probably not a bad idea to make desserts a now and then option, not something we expect to have at the end of every meal. And there are some good options for desserts. There are three things that are very healthy to begin with: nuts, fruits, and dark chocolate. And you can put those together in lots of ways. Sometimes just the fruit, for example, and you've got something that's tasty and healthy at the same time.
