Some Batches of Nice! Peaches, Mixed Fruit Recalled Over Glass Particles

— -- Some Nice! Peach Slices and Mixed Fruits are being voluntarily recalled due to concerns of the potential of glass particles in the fruit, according to a statement by the Milky Way International Trading Corp. posted on the FDA’s website.

"Consumers could potentially be cut or injured if ingested," the company said in a statement.

A spokeswoman told ABC News there has been one complaint of an "alleged injury" associated with Nice! Brand Peach Slices and no reported complaints related to the Nice! Brand Mixed Fruit products.

The products were sold at Walgreens nationwide in 8-ounce glass jars. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is aware of the recall, according to the company statement. Consumers are encouraged to return the affected item for a refund at the store where it was purchased.
