Medical Errors, Past and Present

It's every surgical patient's worst nightmare. And it happened three times at Rhode Island Hospital. According to Associated Press reports, the hospital was fined $50,000 and reprimanded by the state Department of Health on Monday after the third episode this year involving a doctor performing brain surgery on the wrong side of a patient's head.
