Helping Haitians: 'Be Like Brit' Orphanage, World Vision Project

ABC News recently profiled two charities that are working to help people in Haiti. Here is some more information about the organizations and how you can get involved.

Be Like Brit Orphanage: In Britney's memory, Len Gengel and his family have established a non-profit organization called Be Like Brit; whose mission is to serve the children of Haiti by establishing a safe, nurturing and sustainable orphanage in an environment where they can grow, learn and thrive.

World Vision Project: The World Vision Project, a charitable, non-profit organization founded by Dr. Paul Dougherty, is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people around the world, by providing pro-bono vision correction surgeries to those in need. The organization also provides local surgeons in those areas with training in the most up-to-date cataract and refractive surgery techniques so they may carry on the organization's mission.
