Proposed Circumcision Ban Struck From San Francisco Ballot

It looks as if the City by the Bay won't vote on a circumcision ban after all. San Francisco Superior Court Judge Loretta Giorgi ruled Thursday that the measure to criminalize circumcision must be withdrawn from the November ballot because it would violate a California law that makes regulating medical procedures a state -- not a city -- matter.
