President Barbie and the Iconic Doll Through the Years

Mattel Inc. unveiled the Barbie "I Can Be…" President doll in March 2012, on sale in August 2012. Serving as the "B Party" candidate, Barbie is partnering with The White House Project, which promotes female leadership in business and politics. In a suit created by designer Chris Benz and with a new Tumblr blog, Barbie can stand on her own for the first time ever in two feet in pink wedge shoes. (Mattel )
