Dozens of A-Listers Help Raise Money for Cancer Research
"Stand Up to Cancer" Raised $100M Plus in 2008
Diane Sawyer, anchor of ABC's "World News," will co-host the event with "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric and NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams. The trio hosted the "SU2C" telethon in 2008. Couric lost both her husband and her sister to cancer, and has said the disease "destroyed her family." (Stand Up 2 Cancer)
