A lot of the research so far has -- two different changes that can lead to this connection between not getting enough sleep and -- game. And that there are certain hormones there have been shown to -- change when people get less than six hours of sleep. Now. It's also -- possible that when you don't get enough sleep some would say that. You have more time to eat but and also I think more relevant would be. For those of us who don't get enough sleep or shift workers that when you are at the end of -- shift and -- -- You're more likely to reach for that -- or candy bar to stay away. It's been shown that. People who are sleep deprived -- to crave foods that are high in fat and high and carbohydrate content. So what approach would be that you smaller more frequent males and so -- your energy needs -- more regulated. But also to I think the important thing especially for those shift workers is to make sure that they get enough sleep. This is hard to do a lot of times because it's so difficult to sleep during the daytime after -- especially with family and friends. -- I think it really needs to be a priority for everybody not just shift workers to make sure that they get enough sleep.
