A sixteen year old Haitian girl has a new start on life thanks to the good doctors that Operation Smile. We do have to warn you some of the images that follow are graphic on police story of Wallace from the Haitian capital port -- prince. A tumor started to grow -- her face when she was just twelve. Growing quickly it damaged her left -- and cause damage to her jaw and facial muscles. Local doctors were unable to help and she soon became a -- and too embarrassed to go outside. Operation -- the charity group well known for traveling the world and helping children with facial deformities. Prior to a hospital in Norfolk Virginia in late April doctors spent twelve hours removing the now four pound tumor. It was still growing and doctors that it would it soon blocked her from breathing. Today she's recovering. And although there are some more surgeries ahead. On cleese is no longer embarrassed and has thrown away the scarf she used to -- to cover her face.
