Amanda Knox Prosecutors Ask Court to Increase Her Sentence to Life in Prison

An Italian prosecutor asked an appeals court today to increase the prison sentence for American student Amanda Knox from 26 years to life. Prosecutor Giancarlo Costagliola asked that in addition to spending the rest of her life in prison that the 24-year-old Seattle woman be ordered to spend six months in daytime isolation. The request for the harsher sentence came as Knox and her co-defendent Raffaele Sollecito were hoping that their appeal could conclude soon with their prison sentences...Full Story
