Rare Tiger Escapes Village Mob Hunt

After it was chased by hundreds of angry villagers and finally saved by Indian wildlife workers, a royal Bengal tiger swam to freedom Tuesday. The rare tiger was spotted after it wandered into a village about 150 miles south of Calcutta Sunday evening, but forest guards scared the tiger away with fire.
