Karri DeSelm , left, and Sulimon Giddo are the lone staffers manning the Darfur Peace and Development office. Giddo came to the United States from Darfur in 1999. He was inspired to found the nonprofit group because he said he was one of the very fortunate few who got an education in Darfur. DeSelm, a Fort Wayne , Ind., native, works with American schools to create aid projects for Darfur. (Caitlin Johnson/ ABC)
