Barefoot Pirates Try to Hijack Ship

This exclusive photo obtained by ABC News was taken by a crew member of the U.S. flagged freighter Maersk Alabama during the failed attempt by Somali pirates to hijack the ship April 8, 2009. Barefoot pirates can be seen on the deck of the Alabama holding A-47 machine guns. "They meant business, very scary," third mate Colin Wright told "Good Morning America."
