China Opens World's Longest Sea Bridge Spanning 26.4 Miles

The Tianhe-1A supercomputer, located at the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, China, can perform 2,507 trillion calculations per second. China says it's the fastest computer in the world, outpacing the top American machine and boosting Beijing's role as a key technology player, according to AOL News. Tianhe-1A has 168 graphics processing units -- the type of graphics chips used in video games -- and 14,336 Intel CPUs, according to PC World.
