“What I love about grilled pizza is its simplicity and the fact that they can be perfectly imperfect in shape. Father’s Day for me is about not fussing over a huge meal,” he told ABC News. “Pizza is great because my boys love to help out and we all make our own, they’re always spot-on delicious and I maximize the time I get to spend with my kids. That’s what it’s all about.”

“I’m tempted to say that what I would love to eat on a day that is wholly dedicated to me would be delicacies like sea urchin, jamón iberico and whole roasted baby pig. But really, what I truly love the most is heading to the farmers’ market with my wife and three daughters and shopping for beautiful, fresh and incredible vegetables to cook with at home,” he told ABC News. “There is no limit to the possibilities of what you can make with vegetables, and my daughters and I often cook Spanish tortillas, pastas and paellas with them.”
