— -- Food, rides and a good time can all be found at the Ohio State Fair. But how about a makeover?

Good Morning America” sent its intrepid beauty team – fashion guru Gretta Monahan, celebrity hair stylist Ted Gibson and Almay makeup artist Mickey Williams – to the fair in Columbus to give one lucky woman a new look.

After partaking in some of the fair’s goodies last week, the trio canvassed the fairgrounds in search of a candidate. Within an hour, they spotted 30-year-old Colby Murphy, an occupational therapist, wife and new mother to a 10-month-old baby girl, Camden.

They handed the couple’s baby to Murphy’s husband and then whisked her off for a rapid makeover.

For Murphy, of Columbus, news that she’d been rewarded with a makeover was music to her ears.

“We tried to have a baby for years and years so, my focus was kind of on that. And then, we had her and now my focus is on her. So, I'm definitely ready to focus on me a little bit,” she said, laughing through tears.

Within minutes of escorting her to the Almay beauty bus, the team came up with a plan to help Murphy embrace change.

Describing a hair change as “liberating,” Gibson focused on giving Murphy a shorter 'do’ in a blonder hue, while Monahan dressed her in summer’s hottest look: the romper.

Among the celebrities to rock red-hot rompers this summer: Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively.

“What I love about the romper trend, is you can wear it with high heels, flats, skimmers … This is a very versatile trend that a lot of women can wear,” Monahan said.

Williams gave Murphy as all-American beauty look, telling her, “don't be afraid of color, and nice natural lip stain, beautiful, gorgeous shimmery eye shadow, with that clean kind of classic, happy look.”

Before her makeover, Murphy would typically wear T-shirts and leggings, and before she donned the romper, Murphy said she had not worn shorts in at least three years.

An hour after the makeover began, Murphy saw herself in the mirror. The sight made her emotional.

“I came to the fair to get French fries and I'm coming away with an amazing makeover,” she said.
