But until recently, there was no interior decorator in a box.
Season in a Trunk aims to be just that.
Founder Christa Melton said the company is the first and only to offer seasonal decor delivered to your door.
“I wanted to take that feeling you get when the season changes and package it up,” she said.
Melton, a designer with a decade’s experience, said people connect with seasons through the clothes they wear and the food they eat. So why not connect with, say, winter, through your home decor as well?
Season in a Box is not a subscription service. There are four boxes -- one for each season -- and then additional boxes that are holiday specific.
Within each category, there are three levels of boxes ranging from $49 to $149. A customer can also purchase additional, individual items. So if a person receives the winter box and wants additional copper wire fairy lighting? No problem.
