Munchkin the Shih Tzu Celebrates Christmas With a Sleigh Ride
Munchkin is a tiny dog big on holiday spirit
— -- Munchkin the Shih Tzu took the Internet by storm last Halloween with her teddy bear costume and now the dog, still in her costume, is back to celebrate Christmas.
Munchkin, an 8-pound imperial Shih Tzu female from Southern California, got her first taste of snow earlier this month and even went sledding.
A YouTube video posted Sunday shows Munchkin taking a brief ride in a sled while wearing her famous teddy bear suit, this time adorned by jingle bells.
The video was taken after a snowfall earlier this month in California’s San Bernadino Mountains, according to Munchkin’s owner, Cindy Roth.
“As Munchkin stopped at the snow bank, she looked back and was thinking, ‘That's it? Let’s keep going!,’” Roth told ABC News by email. “She loved it, wanted to play in it for hours.”
Munchkin made waves last month with a video of her running on a treadmill while dressed as a bear.
The Internet-famous dog now has her own Twitter account and Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages.
This time of year, Munchkin's Facebook and Instagram pages are full of holiday cheer.
