  • Owen - The Emperor of Penguins Owen was born with multiple heart defects, and listed for a heart transplant at 5 days old. He coded many times while waiting, but held on long enough to receive a transplant at one month old. At the age of 2, he received hearing aids, and currently struggles with his speech.

  • Sadie -- The Sun Princess Sadie suffer pain from the same thing the rest of the world sees as the greatest pleasure -- the sun. Because of the very rare disease she has, CRT -- Cone Rod Dysfunction -- she can't leave the house without being protected from the sun. Much of the time, Sadie lives in the dark. But, with her magically happy and glowing spirit - anything is possible. Even sunshine from sunflowers.

  • Dominic -- The Time Traveler Dominic was born prematurely with Down Syndrome, feeding issues and congestive heart failure. He's had many surgeries, most recently on his heart to repair his atria. Dom is non-verbal and is hospitalized many times a year as he battles recurring pneumonia. All this aside, with his contagious laughter and sense of adventure, anything is possible. Even traveling through time to play with dinosaurs.

  • Ruby -- The Sugar Plum Fairy At the age of 2, Ruby and her 11 year old sister Monica unexpectedly and tragically lost their mom. With the unconditional love and support of their family however they have continued to grow up happy and healthy while their beautiful mom shines through. With the support of those near you during difficult times, anything is possible. Even becoming The Sugar Plum Fairy.

  • Hunter - Hero of the Deep Just hours after Hunter was born, he was diagnosed with a rare combination of heart conditions, including Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Half of his little heart had not developed. After a series of surgeries over many years to help correct the problem, Hunter is now able to live with his own heart, but one day may need a transplant.

  • Kasie - The Silent Angel Kasie has Rett Syndrome, a rare disorder that almost exclusively affects girls, with symptoms that include seizures & being non-verbal. Girls with Rett's are called "Silent Angels"?. She developed normally until 14 months, when she started having screaming fits, stopped talking and continued to lose her skills. Now 21, Kasie communicates through smiles and laughter. She knows that just like in her favorite movie Aladdin that anything is possible. Even magic carpet rides.

  • David -- Keeper of the Stars David was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, meaning half of his heart did not fully develop. His first surgery was at 8 days old, which left him in cardiac arrest that was thankfully stabilized. For 8 weeks he stayed in the hospital, suffering multiple infections, later going into congestive heart failure before his 2nd surgery at 7.5 months old.His third surgery happened 3 years later, helping prolong the life of his heart. Though David may one day need a heart transplant, he knows that anything is possible. Even protecting the stars we all wish on.

  • Alexandria -- Queen of Candyland Alex was born with a rare disease called Biliary Atresia, a maldevelopment of the common bile duct in the liver. At 1 month old she underwent a KASAI Procedure surgery, but 3 months later it was discovered she would need a transplant. Luckily, once she was listed, she received her gift of life after only 8 days of waiting. With her new liver made possible because of an organ donor, she is a true example that anything is possible.. Even becoming the Queen of Candyland.

  • Travis - The Watchman At 22 months old, Travis because very ill from a form of Ecoli, spending 2 months in the hospital, and ending up on dialysis. He lost 80% of his large bowels, had significant cardiac complications and lost complete vision in both of his eyes. Now 7 years old, he has grown into a confident, Judo-loving little boy who believes that anything is possible if you choose to see it that way. Even protecting the world from bad guys.

  • Jack -- The Hero of Hope Street Jack was born with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia, going into complete liver failure at only 5 months old. 2 months later he received a life saving liver transplant. He has been through numerous surgeries, and may need another liver transplant in the future, but he is able to save the day because an organ donor saved his life.

  • Captain Chance in The Haunted Forest Chance was diagnosed with Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in June 2011. The next month his diagnosis changed to "rare, high risk." His chemo treatments are expected to last until October 2014, but his spark and will to survive inspires his family and everyone around him. When you give Hope a Chance, anything is possible.
