'All My Children' Ends 41-Year Run
Judith Light, now famous for her roles on "Who's the Boss" and "Ugly Betty," first found fame after being recast in the role of Karen Wolek on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live." Her character became a prostitute, bored with her life as a housewife married to workaholic Dr. Larry Wolek. In her role as Karen, she entertained local businessmen and became a "freelance" prostitute, and then a full-time call girl for the pimp and pornographer Marco Dane (played by Gerald Anthony).
