Smoked salmon and trout. The salmon is smoked and packaged for the U.S. market in southern Chile. This will be a 4-ounce package (125 grams) for the U.S. market. Twenty years ago Chile did not export any salmon. In the wild, salmon meat turns orange naturally, but because the diet on the farms is different the fish have to be fed a nutrient to replicate the color. The U.S. FDA strictly monitors salmon imports. (Jeffrey Kofman/ABC News)
