PHOTOS: South African Game Preserve

The Sand River flows through the Mala Mala camp preserve. The river is low even though the rainy season has just ended, as there was not as much rain as in previous years. It's possible that this indicates a change in global weather patterns. Within the tall grass are pools of water full of animal life. (John Corcoran)
