PHOTOS: South African Game Preserve

It is currently the rainy season in most of sub-Saharan Africa, but in the south of the continent the weather is predicted to be dry. This is important. Since there are no paved roads, it was critical to find firm ground that could support the movement of heavy equipment. This is a small dirt road that will be the parking lot for the ABC satellite trucks, generators and production tents for the live broadcast on April 20, 2007. (John Corcoran)
