UP CLOSE: Frank Chapman holds a Gulf sturgeon. This is a relatively small one. In the Suwannee River they are often 6 feet long -- some are as long as 8 feet. Sturgeon are among the oldest fish on the planet, tracing back almost 200 million years. Chapman insists the sturgeon are not aggressive. He believes the jumping is related to a primitive feeding habit, even through the sturgeon don't actually eat while they're in the Suwannee River. (Jeffrey Kofman/ABC News )
