Saving a Forgotten Species
The ABC News crew was given unprecedented access to a massive effort by the Nepali government and the World Wildlife Fund to save the great one-horned rhino, or the rhinoceros unicornis. Soldiers and park rangers patrol for poachers on elephant-back, in wooden boats along crocodile-infested rivers, as seen here, and on foot in forests filled with wild animals. (ABC News)
