Michelle Obama proved her fashion prowess when she appeared on "The View" in June. The $148 White House/Black Market Empire flower print dress she sported became a hit, and some said it helped remake her image. The show's co-hosts praised her look, and the Donna Ricco-designed black-and-white outfit quickly sold out.
Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Elizabeth Wellington said the dress showed off Michelle's "toned triceps" and that "the black flower pinned to her left shoulder, along with full eyelashes and a wispy-banged pageboy, gave her a polished and strong, yet completely feminine look."
