November 30, 2007— -- 33 days until the Iowa caucuses

Hillary Clinton is headed to New Hampshire in the wake of a hostage crisis which ended peacefully late Friday.

"I am very grateful that this difficult day has ended so well," said Clinton. "All of my campaign staff and volunteers are safe. I want to thank them for their extraordinary courage and coolness under some very difficult pressures."

Clinton is going to the Granite State to thank law enforcement and to check in on those who were held hostage by Leeland Eisenberg in her Rochester office.

Appearing in front of her Washington, D.C., home, Clinton did not address whether her trip to New Hampshire will impact her plans to participate in two Iowa forums which are taking place on Saturday.

Saturday's first Democratic forum in Iowa is the "Heartland Forum."

If Clinton makes it, she will be one of five Democratic '08ers taking part: the others are Barack Obama, John Edwards, Chris Dodd, and Dennis Kucinich.

Candidates will appear one-by-one and take questions on community values and various policy issues.

The second Democratic forum is the "Brown and Black Forum."

At this event, Clinton is scheduled to join all seven of her Democratic rivals on stage at the same time. In addition to taking moderator, panelist, and audience questions, the candidates will get an opportunity to question one another directly.

The focus of the forum is on issues which impact Latinos and African-Americans, and by extension, the nation as a whole.

On Sunday, be sure to tune into "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" for an interview with surging Republican '08er Mike Huckabee.

A YouTube video surfaced Friday of Huckabee pretending to take a call from God at a 2004 Republican fundraiser.

"We want to do what's right," Huckabee pretends to tell the Lord. "And our president does. And we're behind him, yes, sir, we sure are. Yes, sir, we know you don't take sides in the election. But, if you did, we kind of think you'd hang in there with us, Lord, we really do."
