Federal Court Rules Mountaintop Cross Violates Constitution

A federal appeals court ruled today that a 43-foot-tall cross that sits atop Mount Soledad in La Jolla, Calif., violates the Establishment Clause of the Constitution. The three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals was unanimous in its decision.
